In lieu of two major accomplishments I’ve reached lately, I decided to treat myself! What a better way to do this than with food and sports? Talk about the perfect combination, if I do say so myself.
Saturday night after our official certification, my girlfriend Noelle and I headed down to Manhattan Beach. Now this has been one of my favorite areas for a while, and it was the perfect excuse to pay a visit with her new move. We of course found ourselves at the local Fish Bar, just a few blocks from the pier. I discovered this place when I first moved to LA, and it has been a Sorenson favorite ever since. The popular local spot is well known for its lobster in just about every form imaginable (not to mention lobster and waffles for brunch). You better believe I bought myself the king lobster, with the yummiest brussel sprouts known to man. If you know me, you’d understand just how often I’m always looking for scrumptious fish and veggie sprouts!
Thursday night I was gratefully able to cheer on my team to BEAT the Lakers here in Los Angeles!! Talk about a wild ride. It’s been some time since I’ve been able to see the Utah Jazz live, and boy do I miss these guys. I must applaud: huge thanks to Clay Jensen for the amazing seats at the Staples Center! Seventh row behind the Jazz bench is nothing shy of amazing. Hayward and Favors are a couple of players I saw come in to our team as rookies, as I was dancing on the team alongside. It is SO fun to see how far they’ve come. After a great game accompanied by a fun date, I couldn’t help but think the only thing to make it better would be if my brothers were there to see them in action.
Food + Sports = the perfect fusion of fun
Throw in some art of any kind, a few girlfriends + shopping, and life can feel pretty luxurious if you ask me.
Okay enough of the fun. Back to work for me! A number of shows and training all week long. New updates and a report of my day shoot in Arizona coming soon 🙂
I hope everyone has the BEST weekend! I’ll also be heading down to San Diego for some fun.
Tootles! Be back soon 🙂
