exploring Boston & NYC with my favorites

My goodness this post is well overdue. Again I have been swamped with assignments, classes and many rehearsals. Twelve to fourteen hour days at NYU are something else. Although I have no complaints, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t exhausted. At least I love what I’m doing!

A couple of weeks ago I got to visit my Mom and brother in Boston, or more specifically Cambridge, MA. Taylor who is a freshman at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), needed a couple of hands to help him move into his new dorm on campus. I have to say I sort of fell in love with this place. It has the perfect balance of just about everything. As much as I love NY, sometimes I miss the trees — that is other than what you see in beautiful Central Park.

I’ve spent a great deal of my time in ‘the park.’ There is just so much to see and discover! Every time I’ve gone to explore with Kyle, we find something new. You can rent bikes, row boats, walk around, enjoy music, and workout or run around in just about any place you’d like. We even decided to try a few lifts as we meandered about (hehe).

Oh yes and I even got to go to the U.S. Open this weekend with my former roomie from Los Angeles!

There are endless opportunities here in NYC. You can literally never be bored. Friends I’ve met from all over just happened to land here too. When my time is spent with my very favorite person and I’m doing what I love every single day, life can’t seem to get much better.

Talk to you sooner than later, I promise.
