Last May I met up with Rebecca Rice in NYC to shoot this video. We met online and decided we better collab ASAP. Now I consider her one of my close friends!
Take a look.
To be honest I never planned on posting this.
This was the song I walked down the aisle to 😉 #presh
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about how we need to share our struggles, as well as our best moments. My husband has been deployed since November and he will be returning very soon. The last bit of time always seems to be the most difficult. I just get so anxious to see him!
And for those of you who are doing the long distance thing, I know it’s not easy. I get it! We did it for a long time and so it continues. Even a short amount of time can be a real struggle without your other half. Nothing feels the same or is as appetizing without the other person.
I’m just not going to sugarcoat it.
I woke up this morning and cried for no reason, just because he’s not here. But the beautiful thing is that he will be home soon, and not everyone can say that they have the kind of love for someone where literally nothing is the same without them.
So I’m sharing this because it is a piece of my heart. Missing him may never get easier, deployments will often come and go, but at the end of it we’ll always have us.
Thanks for watching.
